Solo Counselling Services work with businesses offering counselling for their employees

How employee counselling works:

This service enables the individual to talk about their issues with a trained professional in a confidential setting. The counsellor will provide the right conditions for the individual to explore their thoughts and feelings. The counsellor will work with the client to develop coping strategies and offer support with the ongoing transition.

Issues that employees may want to discuss:

  • Managing conflict at home or work
  • Bereavement or loss
  • Low self-esteem
  • Bullying
  • Financial problems
  • Divorce
  • Failure to meet targets set
  • Post traumatic stress disorder
  • Addiction
  • Relationship Issues
  • Debt

Professional Clinical Support

This type of therapy is aimed at professionals who work with and represent clients who are mentally fragile or may have been involved in a traumatic event. It is likely the professional will absorb some toxins/contamination when listening to the pain and circumstances of their clients, over time the professional can experience compassion fatigue and this can often lead to burnout and other related symptoms. The service offers a confidential and safe environment for the professional to explore the effects of the work on them personally, and enables them reflect on their practice. The counsellor will encourage the professional to find suitable coping strategies; this will in turn maintain their well being and allow them to continue best practice. Here are some examples of the professions that have benefited from the service; Solicitors, Health workers, Finance Sector, Emergency services.
